Holiday Cottage in Blockley

Pearl Cottage is set within the beautiful village of Blockley in The Cotswolds. Built in 1837, this pretty Cotswold Stone cottage forms part of a short terrace of four houses called Albert Cottages, each of which benefit from unique, semi-circular topped windows. Renovated in 2016, Pearl Cottage is both luxurious and comfortable and has been tastefully decorated with many stylish touches, whilst still retaining its original character and charm. There is a beautiful light and bright living room that benefits from a stone fireplace with a welcoming wood burning stove, plenty of comfortable seating and a SMART HD TV. The fully equipped modern kitchen/diner is also very light and airy and has been fitted with an electric range cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, washing machine and dryer. It also benefits from solid oak flooring, a dining table and French doors that open onto a sunny private garden. A welcome pack containing teabags, sugar, biscuits, a pint of milk and in the winter months a small amount of kindling, firelighters and logs for your first night is provided. The village shop is just a 5 minute walk away where you can stock up during your stay.

The cottage has 3 bedrooms all of which are located on the first floor, the Master bedroom is simply breathtaking with its beautiful arched window that has been furnished with an elegant window pelmet and curtains that perfectly frame the window. A comfortable king-sized bed dressed with Egyptian Cotton white linen and softly painted furniture perfectly compliment this lovely room. The second bedroom also has a comfortable king-sized bed that has also been tastefully dressed with a splash of colour over crisp, white Egyptian Cotton bed linen. The third bedroom is cosy and comfortable with a single bed also dressed with crisp, white Egyptian Cotton bed linen. The main bathroom contains a bath with a gorgeous shower over, basin and toilet, large fully towels are also provided for guests. The cottage garden has been landscaped with decking, a lawn with patio, outdoor seating and a BBQ. On road guest parking is available.
